The ByoPiC project has formally started on the 1st January 2017 !

Led by Nabila Aghanim, the ByoPiC project (funded by an ERC Advanced Grant) aims at solving a key issue in astrophysics and cosmology: Where are the baryons hidden today in the cosmic web?
With optimised statistical analyses applied to the Planck data jointly with galaxy surveys, ByoPiC will detect, map, and assess the physical properties of the hot baryonic gas at large cosmic scales in filaments and galaxy super-clusters.
